Privacy Policy
This policy explains how we handle information when you browse the website, create an account, generate music or lyrics, purchase credits or subscriptions, and share your work. Updated October 14, 2026.
1. Information we collect
Account information includes your name, email address, profile image when provided, and session records. Email-and-password sign-in stores a password hash. We store generation inputs such as prompts, lyrics, titles, and settings, together with task status, results, and credit activity. Purchases create order, payment-status, and subscription records. If you contact support, we receive the information you send. Hosting and enabled analytics services may also process IP addresses, browser and device information, page visits, and technical logs.
2. How we use information
We use this information to authenticate your account, generate and deliver music or lyrics, save your creations, manage credits and purchases, provide downloads and sharing, respond to support requests, and protect and maintain the service. Generation inputs are processed on our servers and by generation providers; they are not limited to your browser.
3. Generation and service providers
We send the prompts, lyrics, and generation settings needed for your request to our third-party AI processing providers and the underlying services they use to produce the result. Hosting, database, and media-storage providers process data needed to operate the website and deliver files. Their processing may take place outside your country. Provider privacy and retention practices apply to the information they receive. Avoid submitting sensitive personal information in prompts or lyrics.
4. Sign-in and payments
If you choose Google sign-in, we receive the profile details needed to create or authenticate your account, such as your name, email address, and profile image. Purchases are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout. That provider processes payment details, while we store transaction references, order status, amounts, and the credits or subscription associated with your account. The sign-in and payment providers also apply their own privacy policies.
5. Cookies and browser storage
Cookies maintain sign-in sessions and preferences. Browser storage keeps drafts and settings when you move between tools or return from sign-in, and helps resume generation status. Clearing it removes local copies but does not delete records stored with your account. When configured, analytics, advertising, and support integrations may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits, display advertising, or provide support. You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser; blocking them may affect sign-in and other features.
6. Private creations and shared links
Your creations are private by default. If you enable sharing, anyone with the link can access the selected song, including its audio, cover, title, and available lyrics, and may save a copy. You can disable the link in the sharing controls. Disabling a link cannot remove copies someone has already downloaded. A shared song link does not provide access to your account or your other private creations.
7. Storage and retention
Song availability follows the storage period recorded for each generation: currently 7 days for free accounts, 30 days for Basic, 180 days for Standard, and 365 days for Pro. Check the expiry shown on your song and download important files before it expires. These periods describe access to song files, not the retention of every account record. Generation metadata, lyrics, account records, transactions, support messages, and technical logs may remain as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet applicable obligations. Removing a creation or reaching its file expiry does not mean every related record is immediately erased.
8. Your choices and requests
You can manage your profile, remove creations, disable sharing, and clear local browser storage. For access, correction, or deletion of personal information, email contact@aimusicgen.app from the address associated with your account. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing a request. Your available rights and any records we must retain depend on applicable law. Downloaded files and copies held by recipients are outside your account controls.
9. Security
We use account authentication and access controls to restrict access to private creations and account information. Passwords for email sign-in are stored as hashes. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your sign-in credentials and private links secure, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
10. Changes and contact
We update this policy when our information-handling practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. For privacy questions or account-data requests, contact contact@aimusicgen.app.
How long are generated songs stored?
Generated songs are kept for 7 days on Free, 30 days on Basic, 180 days on Standard and 365 days on Pro, measured from the generation task's creation. Monthly and annual billing use the same storage periods. Each song keeps the deadline assigned when it was created; buying credits or changing plans does not automatically extend it. At expiry, site playback, downloads and shared listening stop; physical file deletion runs separately in the background. Download important songs first.
Are my uploaded originals saved?
Currently, uploaded original audio is stored temporarily for processing and is not offered as a reusable audio library. Free accounts do not include original-audio saving. Planned saving for active subscriptions is Basic 30 days, Standard 180 days and Pro 365 days, but this feature is not available yet. One-time credit packs do not include original-audio saving. Keep your own copy of every original.
Do credit packs expire?
Pack credits do not expire. Buying a pack does not change your subscription plan, concurrency or existing song deadlines, and does not include original-audio saving. Without an active subscription, newly generated songs are kept for 7 days. Commercial-use eligibility is separate from storage benefits.
